One of the significant problems people see in education is dropouts–people who dropout of school and never complete their education. We keep spending a huge amount of our resources trying to prevent dropouts. Most of those resources however are going to kids when they are in high school. Why are we waiting so long? Kids don’t drop out because of what happens in high school, but rather because of what happened when they were five or six when they entered school.
